Then join the Washington Center for the Book via Seattle Public Library on December 15th at 6pm with me and one of my literary idols, Claudia Rowe, for a conversation in celebration of WHAT I CARRY winning the 2021 Washington State Book Award. Claudia is the author of the NYT Best-selling and award-winning THE SPIDER AND THE FLY, and she is a writer with the Seattle Times and most recently PBS’s Crosscut series, where she writes about Education and the Foster Care system.
